The first Prototype Platform

The FLYLOAD Hoverpad built by Pat White in 1990 and was made using car exhaust pipe materials and a pipe bender, it carries 2 metric tons and was used as a demo platform for many years.

AerGlide is the result of 20 years of experience in the air caster and air bearing industry, for the past 20 years we have worked on client sites around the world known as "Airfloat Systems" and have an international experience not found in the industry today many examples exist of Pat White's work in fluid film handling.

AerGlide is the USA based manufacturer of Aircasters and Aircaster equipped systems such as rigging sets and air platforms for use within the industries as laid out below. We proudly manufacture American for export to our independent distributors worldwide - we don't use the name "Airfloat" in the USA due to it being in use by other companies selling various products and the use of similar and confusing names would make it difficult for our customers to find us often falling into unscrupulous resellers of the technology.

AerGlide Air Casters are also referred to as Air Casters, Aero Casters, Air Bearings, Air Skids, Air Skates, Air Cushions, Luft Kussings, Load Movers and the original BHC Hoverpad. all these products are the same in function which is to float heavy loads on a fine film of compressed air.

We are proud of our achievements in Nuclear Decommissioning, Factory Automation, Green Projects and innovation in engineering since 1990 and our connections and associations with the original manufacturer of this Technology, BHC which stands for "British Hovercraft Company" in the United Kingdom.

The Full size model of the Millennium Falcon was constructed at Elstree Film Studios in 1979 The Millennium Falcon was constructed in a hangar at Pembroke Docks where great flying boats were made in the 1930s. It was brought to Elstree Studios, London, in sixteen interlocking sections by a convoy of trucks. After reassembly, the Falcon was floated into position on the brand new Star Wars stage by means of Hoverpads.

I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance.
